Biography

My life is not only in the book “Eyes of Eternity” or in the book about Osiris. My life is not only in the books “The Hill above Clouds,” “The Bhagavatar” or the “Path to Oneness.” My life is in every one of my books, in every sentence, in every verse.

In all these years, some sixty of them, I’ve been making one and the same effort: releasing conscious control and allowing the holy spirit to enter my consciousness and my words. That was all I was really “doing.” Writing was just the immediate consequence of letting go of my disbelief in the impossible.
My biography is essentially a story about the effort to surrender myself to something that does not require any effort, hard work, or knowledge.

Let the energy of the holy spirit pour
through your spine –
I’ll be waiting at the top of your head
with a burning matchstick.

You will start speaking in tongues,
and you will know what angels think.

But you have to let the energy of the holy spirit
ascend through you,
let go and cease all resistance,
that’s all you have to do.
