Thoughts and Reflections

There is a Celtic fairytale which says that man is 49 parts human and one part fairy-like. In The Epic of Gilgamesh, it is said that King Gilgamesh was three fourths human and one fourth divine. According to this measurement, our divine part is smaller than the human one. Luckily, however, this measurement does not apply here. The divine part cannot be subjected to a number or a measurement. That part is Jesus’ Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is not only very important and essential but it is also all pervasive and all encompassing. Man is, thus, a fairy, an angel, God.
“Are you God?” God was asked. “Yes, I am,” He said. “But you are God too; it’s only that you do not know that. The only difference between you and me is your ignorance.” This means that the one part which is the only one that is truly ours is also the whole of who we are. To grasp this with your heart and soul means to realize it. To realize it means to become realized.
