Thoughts and Reflections

Like so many of us, there was a lady who suffered from a repeated nightmare that for years would not go away. In it she was being chased by a bear over hill and dale. That nighttime hunt made her more and more exhausted. It went on for years until the turning point when the things dramatically changed. One night while running away from the bear, the woman became so exhausted that she could not take one more step. She stopped, turned around, looked at the beast that had been chasing her and asked, “Why? Why are you chasing me like this?” The bear stopped too, thought for a moment, straightened his back, helplessly raised his paws and said, “I don’t know, lady. It’s your dream. I am merely a character in it.”
