Thoughts and Reflections

How can a wave, no matter how brave, proclaim itself to be just a wave, forgetting that it is the sea? The only story that never changes, one that does not come and does not go and is in the background of all stories, is the story about waves and the sea.
In other words, it is only the inherent human creativity that does not change, pouring over the borders of lands and peoples, rushing to meet in an eternally new way “a very old discovery” (T. Ujević).
That which is eternal and unchanging is enormous, the size of an ocean yearning for something new, ever newer, and, if possible, final. It is not water that changes; it does not care to remember all the shapes of glasses that it fills all over the world and time.
The highest peak of the wave-man is his recognition of his own oceanic nature.
